While leashed, Jasmine bolted from our garage around 2:40 a.m. shortly after we picked her up from a rescue service van in Hartford. She had been driven to Hartford from Alabama. We are heartbroken.

Bethie Lyn Unfortunately, Jasmine is still on the run. She was spotted today on Outer Ridge Road and we immediately drove there after a resident who read one of the posters in the area called but we couldn't find her. We have video of her on the road. We have a trap set up with video that captured her eating the bait (steak pieces) but she didn't actually enter the trap to trigger it shut. We also have drone footage taken at 5 a.m. or so that shows her in a backyard three houses away. So we know she's in the immediate area and will continue efforts to bring her home. Thanks for asking.

Jeannine Hunt-DelVasto Came very close last night but she didn't go all the way into a trap to trigger door closure. Spotted her on a drone video this morning on a patio down the street. We put more food in the trap this morning hoping she will go deeper in it to trigger door closure. We have live cameras on it so if it closes we can immediately bring her home. She is too skittish to approach. CT Dog Gone Recovery Volunteer Network is doing a great job with the trap and drone. Thanks for asking.
