Be sure to check with houses near you, that have crawlspace doors closed!!! Our kitty used to venture under the house, every time we opened up and went under the house!!! Heating and A/C folks checking residences needing to go under, may see such kitty activity too!!! Hope she is home very soon!!!!

So sorry she’s missing. She’s a beautiful long-haired kitty and I hope you find her very soon. If you have a garage, please leave the door cracked open about 8 inches 24/7 so that if she returns, she can get inside and be safe. Walk around your home and nearby homes several times a day, calling her name softly over and over. Also leave a window cracked open all day far enough for her to walk through during the day. Make sure the window is not too high for her to reach. This often works for cats. They usually will try to come home when it is almost dark or dark outside because they hide during the day for their safety. Get the word out to lots of neighbors by printing out flyers with her photo and description and your contact information. On the flyer, tell people to take a photo of her and text it to you if they can and to include the location where she was seen. Walk around your neighborhood every morning around Dawn and in the evening at Dusk. Bring a flashlight and softly call her name. Her eyes will glow in the dark. She may come out of hiding when it is nearly dark and when it is dark. That’s the most likely times for her to leave her hiding place!! Leave smelly cat food like tuna and also water on your porches. Put some of your unwashed clothing around your yard, front and back. She will smell your familiar smell, and it could lead her home. Put anything outdoors that has your kitty’s own scent on it, like her cat bed or a blanket she uses a lot. She will smell her scent from far away to find her way home. Research has shown that owners who actively go looking for their cat immediately after they disappear have the best chance of getting their cat back. Keep looking for her several times a day and calling her because coyotes are all over this area and come into neighborhoods at night hunting for small animals and many cats are taken this way. We lost one kitty before we knew about the coyotes in our neighborhood at night. I just want to warn you about this in case you haven’t heard. I pray you find her very soon or that somebody has seen her nearby and you can get her. A cat trap will work if someone has seen her.
