Delylah Colon No need to tell me. Been doing TNR for 25 years. You will see my name pops up often.

Claudia Hyzny I’m sure if they wanted an old white b!tch to preach to them they would go to church instead. Keep your 2 cents for your next wine bottle and keep it pushing. Thanks!

Claudia Hyzny In this case, that code does not establish that he was dumped or that he needed to be taken indoors. Friendly does not automatically mean “dumped indoor cat,” and TNR does not mean feral. Friendly, socialized community cats can live outdoors, have caregivers, and prefer their established territory. TNR cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, eartipped, and returned to the environment they know. He was TNR’d, cared for, and had an established outdoor routine. He would come inside voluntarily during severe weather, but he preferred being outside. Speculating that he was dumped or simply needs someone to “take him in” is unhelpful because you don’t know his history or what was best for him. This is a missing-cat post, so I’d appreciate keeping the focus on helping locate him rather than debating a situation you weren’t involved in. If you genuinely want to help, please share the post or keep an eye out for him. That would be much more helpful.

Delylah Colon Just because he is a TNR cat does not mean that he belonged outside. It means that he was friendly because somebody owned him and dumped him. Hopefully somebody took him in so he doesn't have to live outdoors. I'm not judging you either. I'm just stating the facts. Friendly domestic cats do not need to be roaming outside it's the law. Under the Municipal Code of Chicago (Section 7-12-030), pet owners must keep and maintain their animals under restraint.

Claudia Hyzny Ah yes, because a couple sentences on a missing-cat post obviously give you the full story. 😂 He’s an outdoor TNR cat who has always chosen to live primarily outside and doesn’t like being indoors. He comes inside when he wants to, particularly during harsh weather. We’re very aware of the dangers outside and are actively trying to find him, so the judgment really isn’t necessary. ❤️

Stacey Bosi Kurtyka For 3132 N Neenah Ave, Chicago, they’re asking for the nearest cross street/intersection to help identify the location. It’s near N Neenah Ave and W Henderson St.🤍
