Please keep sharing. My main goal is still finding Vitani and getting a verified answer that she is safe. Vitani was rehomed to Laura Schmidt after I was assured she would stay with her and be cared for. Later, I was told she had been taken to Louisiana by a family member, but I was never given that person’s contact information or any current proof of life. Laura has used different variations of her name, and I was unable to uncover the full extent of her history until Animal Control helped me identify additional information. Since then, former tenants and people who say they knew her personally have contacted me with more information, including allegations that dogs were moved between different properties when Animal Control was investigating. I have also found public records involving prior animal-related issues, including large numbers of dogs kept in unsanitary conditions, a 2021 animal release/dump/abandon charge, and the 2023 Houston SPCA seizure of dozens of dogs that a former investigator told me involved Laura. There are also court records involving serious conduct unrelated to animals and the safety of other people. I am continuing to document everything and asking that these claims and records be independently verified. But the most important question remains: WHERE IS VITANI? If you have seen her, know where she is, or have credible information about where she may have been moved, please message me privately. $1,000 reward for verified proof of life and confirmation of her current home or her safe return. Please share in Alvin, Manvel, and surrounding areas. And if you are considering rehoming a pet in that area, please research carefully before handing your animal over to anyone. Based on my experience and what I have since uncovered, I would strongly urge people not to rehome an animal to Laura. I just want my girl found
