Awww, he's beautiful. Indoor cats that get outside don't usually go far. He's probably scared and hiding/seeking shelter nearby. Keep checking under nearby porches, decks, shrubs and in garages and sheds. Best times to search and call for him are at dusk and dawn. Shake his treat bag while calling his name. Keep putting his food, water, and something with his scent on it outside your door to help him find his way back. Each day in late afternoon/early evening, put canned tuna/fishy canned cat food outside your door and watch for him. The fishy canned food is important because they can smell it from farther away and hopefully he will come back around from wherever he's hiding. It worked to get my cat back when he was lost last summer. Let your neighbors and mail carrier know that he's missing so they can be on the lookout for him. Put flyers up in the area and around the apartment complex. Post on any local Waterville Community/Neighborhood Facebook pages to get the word out. Sending prayers for sweet Dax to be safe and home very soon.
