.Please place its bedding 🛏 outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a contents of tuna 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well...supervise food outdoors. Also vacuumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbors 🖼picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call☎️ immediately. Go early in the ☀️morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera 📹to monitor and see if the cat is around your house . You can even ask your local animal 🐱 shelter to rent out safe trap and monitor it.. Wishing for a soon safe return of your kitty . 🙏 🍀❤️🏡🐾

Maybe they could try putting flyers in the doors of the houses on the street around them asking people to keep an eye out. It draws their attention to the fact that he’s missing . They can call or text with updates of sightings. . It worked twice for us over the years and many others have commented that it’s how they found their cat. Hope kitty is home soon ! 😊 I’ve also seen people comment to put their blanket or an article of worn clothing outside the door they left from so they can follow the scent back home.

Shared. Note that TWO DAYS is a long time to a cat. If you have not yet done ALL these things, do them now. If you have, do them again and go further in your search. Notify Toronto Animal Services and check their website for found cats. Carefully check around your home and property, focusing on small, hidden spots like closets, dresser drawers and hidden nooks and crannies in garages, sheds, basement etc. IF he's an intact male he may have chased females in heat and have trouble finding his way back home. Search all nearby shrubs, bushes and trees, window wells, garages and sheds. Ask nearby neighbours to do the same. Alert local vet offices, rescues and shelters. Alert local feral cat feeders who may spot him searching for food. See Pawboost for more ways to find and sample posters. Put a notice in nearby neighbours mailboxes, post on local notices boards, in community centres, churches and schools. Go out after dark bring food and treats, search a 5+ block radius, stop periodically and softly call but do not make any loud noises or sudden moves. Lost cats are terrified and do not recognize their owner as safe.

The kitty is probably hiding close to home and scared. Call the kitty’s name softly morning noon and night. Late at night. Rattle a treats bag. Put out toys and food and water. Rig up a cat shelter - place articles of clothing and blankets that smell like home in the shelter. Posters work. Make posters and put them up everywhere with your phone number visibly on the poster. Ask for sightings. Don’t give up.
