Black standard short haired with a touch of white and yellow eyes. Around four to four and a half years old. Very seeet, but wary of strangers and loud sounds and hides. indoor only.

Message from Owner

I didn’t let poor Quinn out. A now berry unwelcome houseguest let her out maliciously and then didn’t let her in the way she was trained to do. The woman laughed ss she told me about her “hooting and hollering” to be let in after I had spent hours looking for her. Now poor innocent Quinn, who has lived there since kittyhood, is lost, scared, iand danger from traffic and coyotes, and she can’t find home. I miss her so dearly. Her animal companions are so worried. She can’t be alone in the unfamiliar cold hiding from strangers until it’s too late. Please help!

Carol Taylor DiPietro I've done all of the above. Flyers, calling frequently in larger and larger radii, using nighttime despite risking creeping out neighbors because shy and sounds adverse cats roam at night, weird litter routines, sitting out quietly, using the dog as a scentdog, so many other things. Received a call this morning that it's likely she wasn't out for long. I'm not completely giving up hope, but she probably never had to suffer the cold and the rain and the loneliness and I hope she knew I love her. Crying for her holding her animal firiends on my ankles.

Definitely post On Nextdoor. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen at least one black cat found On Nextdoor of the last couple of days. Check the shelter. Most importantly, you need to get out and start calling your cat loudly and repeatedly. Call, stop and listen for a reply and call again and again. Expand your search if you have to. Make sure that you’re calling loud enough so that if your cat is sleeping somewhere, there’s time for it to wake up, recognize your voice and respond. Good luck. I hope you get this little one back home.

Denise Arasin I did not let her out. Someone I thought was a friend didn’t knowing she’s indoors only. She did it to hurt me because she laughed as she told me the cat was “hooting and hollering” to be let in, and she didn’t do it. I wouldn’t do that. I believe she did it because I went to sleep before the unexpected and now explicitly uninvited houseguest wanted to. So now Quinn is outside at night, but I never let her out.
