I lost a precious cat. She is on the smaller side and a little skittish. If anyone has seen her please let me know!

If you still have put her litter box out for scent Crack open garage door and put her food water and bed inside to attract her Get a humane trap Look under bushes and decks and anywhere she could be hiding Look at dawn and dusk with a flashlight and food Have neighbors check ring cam Make flyers with pictures and put up in the area Give to vet offices and shelters and police and animal control Call microchip company Keep looking and calling Don't give up. Hope back home soon

There are a few proactive things you need to do right way… I would go outside and call for her and shake a treat bag regularly. She may be holed up behind a bush or hiding. Probably not far away but they do get freaked out once they get out. Can you put your garage up 6”? Put a bed and water out there. He needs water 24/7. You can register her to multiple Lost sites. That way you get a poster to put up to alert neighbors she’s missing. Put them up also at more major crossings and intersections. Do the most right away. Check alleys and outdoor cat colonies in your area. Also a live TRAP is very effective when she gets hungry she’ll take the stinky tuna bait. Put it up near your house where you can monitor it often. I would only do this during the day and at dusk. Put her favorite blanket or your jacket over one end so she’s not as aware of the cage. Good luck.🍀 Hope you spot her.

Be proactive. Cats that escape from indoors will most likely stay close by. They will go into hiding but come out at nighttime. Go out when it’s dark, or early morning around 5 am , use a flashlight and call out by name, look in bushes, under cars etc. Talk to your neighbors and get the flyers out , they are really helpful for those who won’t see your posts on the internet. Put out some clothing to attract the cat’s smell, if possible set up a Wi-Fi camera to monitor and if the cat comes- set a trap. The cat will try to find a food source so try setting up a food station and monitor. Report to your local police and if the cat is microchipped, make sure the info is up to date. I would also email or call shelters in case animal control picks it up. Check their websites daily as new cats come in all the time.
