Message from Owner

My cat snuck out. I work midnights at AFC home and he mist have gotten out when i left, he never showed up for breakfast the next day. He is spooked very easy. So that can make him difficult to catch and bring back in. I put a live trap out but no lock yet.

Scatter some articles of clothing or blankets with strong familiar smells around the outside of your house. Cats have a strong sense of smell. Usually they stay close. If it’s an inside cat, fear will drive him/her to hunker down and hide, close to home, for a day or two. After that, hunger will drive him/her out. Be on the lookout at their usual feeding times. Unfortunately, they usually won’t come to their names either. It’s also a good idea to leave the door/window the kitty got out of cracked open overnight. Over 50% of them walk right back in in the middle of the night within a couple of days! Use familiar smells and routines to help keep him close to home. Good luck! 🤞🍀🌈🙏
