Message from Owner

We’ve had Blue now going on almost 3 years. We got her from up northern CO, close to Fort Collins. Believed to be a barn cat up there. Lives now in Parker, CO with us. She is the sweetest smartest cat ever! Very smart, will come when called. Talkative, will meow when her name is said. Loves to say hello and get pets and is a good mouse hunter! She is indoor/outdoor. Very regimented! Outside during the day, then home by dinner time for food and sleep inside. During the day she ‘checks in’ and can see her activity on our doorbell camera. Haven’t seen this routine of hers since Monday 9/28. Also, very worried as the change of seasons are occurring and getting colder. She will always look forward to coming home when it gets cold to cuddle up and be warm in bed. We miss her terribly and this isn’t like her to not come home!

Please go out at night after traffic noise has down, shine flash light under bushes and things cat can hide under and also in trees. Check out any green spots looking back at you. Call cat and wait for a meow back. CRITICAL INCASE CAT IS TRAPPED SOMEWHERE; start from where cat went missing and workout for a radius of 2 miles, knock on doors and ask in person if they will check sheds, garages, window wells, and other outside buildings for cat. ALSO, put cats bed or an old pair of your tennis shoes to help cat know where your porch is. NOT, a litter box that will attract other animals that may keep your cat away. Scared cats usually don't travel far from where they go missing and will wait for YOU to come find them. Also stop by local shelters and rescues everyother day to see if cat has been. turned in. GOOD LUCK

Get out and calling Kitty's name, especially early and late when it's quiet. Search high and low with a flashlight. Put up posters with number large enough to be seen while driving. And post at humane society and on next door.
