🚨 MISSING CAT – PLEASE HELP BRING OUR BOY HOME 🐾❤️ Last night, our toddler unexpectedly let our much-loved 8-year-old cat outside. He has been an indoor-only cat his entire life and has never experienced being outdoors, so we are incredibly worried about him, especially with all this rain. 💔 He is likely to be extremely frightened and hiding somewhere close by. He can be a little standoffish with people he doesn’t know, but he is a very friendly and loving boy once he feels comfortable. He is so incredibly loved and missed by our family. His best friend, Levi, has been calling out for him all night, which is absolutely heartbreaking. 😢 If you spot him, please don’t chase him, as he may panic and run further away. Instead, please contact me immediately with his location. We just want our beautiful boy home safe and sound. ❤️ Please share and help us bring him home to his family. 🐾❤️

Perhaps find someone with a Drone who knows how to operate it and ask neighbours if okay to fly it over their roofs and around gardens, as well as your own. Best time to search (and call his name) for a cat is between midnight and 4am. Agree with others that he will be hiding in plain sight. Good luck.

Pls make sure microchip details are updated as sadly one of the microchip companies closed down and microchips will fail to scan so pls ensure your kitty’s microchip is registered Ph all local vets and pounds daily and email all local vets and pounds photo and details Check neighbors see if cameras see if anyone picked kitty up Door knock let all neighbors know check neighbors yards garages sheds bushes drains etc go out night calling and shaking favourite biscuits with torch each night when it’s super quiet Check back streets incase jumped back fence and lost in surrounding streets Put litter box outside as they smell theie smells Put fliers up and letter box drop Check all pounds and animal welfare league and rspca websites and face bk pages daily Check eck pounds daily and their websites daily ! Praying for safe return soon When kitty found you can get affordable pet trackers online or apple air tags they are great if kitty sneaks out and track quickly with your mobile

Call all local Vets also animal rescues and RSPCA as well as any local pet stores. Make sure that your animals are microchipped and all of your details are up to date. You can update your pets microchip details online or by phone with their particular microchip company or at any Vet clinic. Check your whole home and yard firstly. Some people put out fresh sardines, warm roast chicken meat or whatever is the cats or dogs favourite food is and you could also put out some catnip out for cats as well. The smells of their favourite foods could very well lure them out of hiding or back home if nearby. Door knock the area and the neighbourhood where they went missing and put out flyers. If you've just moved areas, when your pet went missing, you may well have to also check your old neighbourhood as well in case they've tried to return there. Ask neighbours and people in your immediate area to check their security cameras for any sightings of your pet. If you are worried your pet may have been stolen dont delay in making a Police report. Post on other lost pet pages and all local community pages as well. Actively keep looking for your pet daily. Go to the RSPCA holding facilities in person to make certain your pet is not there as they do not hold them for very long before rehoming.

Time is of the essence to going out and looking for your missing fur baby. Night walks, every night for about 30 minutes are super essential to tracking your missing cat. It's a dangerous world out there for roaming fur babies, sadly and you don't want them getting into the wrong human hands!!! When you do your night walks after 10.30pm when the world is quieter, take a flash light and the dry food container and shake it or tap it as you go. (And you could also try taking some hot roast chicken with you as an alternative). And look in all hiding places close by to where your cat escaped from. Under buildings, shrubs, parked vehicles, on roofs, (or in attics) up trees, absolutely everywhere and most especially in the storm water drains in your's and nearby streets. Call down these drains (A favourite place for scared cats to hunker down) and the Flashlight will show up the eyes. Do not go once, go every night calling (try not to sound distressed) and repeat, repeat, repeat, & just the repetition of doing that can help a cat find their way back to you. Print fliers and door knock neighbours far & wide. Ask if you can search their gardens and any outdoor buildings, always calling as you search, (you might just get a reply) and ask them to check any attics in their houses, leave a flier with them. Always check in with the Pounds and any RSPCA and Vets etc. Leave them a flier too. And if there's a sighting you can always hire or borrow a humane cat trap and set it with hot roast chicken. Good luck in finding your beautiful fur baby. 🙏
