Trapping Tips -Set live traps. -Dusk through Dawn is best -so where you can easily and frequently monitor them without disturbing the area -using camera cameras that are connected with your phone are most helpful. -put something that smells like you and the kitty over the back half of the trap -bait with something like tuna or sardines, but only in water no extras. And please do not use the can. They are awfully sharp. We have caught kitties missing two weeks without any sightings on the Owners property on day 1 to 3 of trapping. Yes, you may catch wildlife or other cats, but just straddle the back half of the trap release the door by stretching over the trap and they should run out. They don’t wanna be any more near you than you want them in there.

Tiana Brightman That's encouraging because he's probably scared and hiding/seeking shelter nearby. Keep checking under nearby porches, decks, shrubs and in garages and sheds. Best times to search and call for him are dusk and dawn. Each day until he's found, in late afternoon/early evening, put canned tuna/fishy canned cat food outside your door and watch for him. I would recommend setting a humane trap near the door that he escaped from. Also put fresh water and something with his scent on it outside your door to help him find his way back. Let your neighbors and mail carrier know so they can be on the lookout for him. Put flyers up in the Area. I will keep praying for little Mandrew to be safe and found quickly. Black cats and kittens are my favorite.

Mary Katherine Gillan he was let out of our door. We live right behind the speedway. we went up there and notified them and searched but we haven’t had any luck as of yet. Thank you for your prayers🩷

This is heartbreaking 💔 Was he not in a cat carrier? He won't even know the area. Let the manager at the Speedway know and ask them to let their employees know so they can all be on the lookout. Ask them if they would be willing to put food outside their door and maybe you will need to set a humane trap. Call the Toledo Humane Society to let them know what happened. Maybe they have a trap you could borrow. Put flyers up immediately around that area. Post on Toledo and Surrounding Area Lost and Found Pet page and Sylvania/Toledo Lost and Found Pet page to get the word out. Go back to the Speedway every day and call for Mandrew. Shake a treat bag while calling his name. Say lots of prayers for the poor little guy. I'm praying that he is safe and found quickly.
