✅ Luna MAY have already been FOUND and is SAFE ✅ DON'T WAIT to IMMEDIATELY start KNOCKING ON DOORS in several neighborhoods - not just to the end of the street - up to 3 mi radius ✅ MANY lost animals are SIGHTED or SECURED the same day they went missing by someone NEARBY who may not be on social media. ✅ having people CHECK their SURVEILLANCE FOOTAGE is a great way to give you her LAST KNOWN LOCATION or if someone is seen picking her up ✅ several lost pets are safe with a neighbor who might not know the steps to take finding the owner. ✅ it's always recommended to search a wider radius than a smaller one

✅ set up a scent station right away. ✅ a dog's sense of smell is exceptionally powerful and can smell their owner's scent from up to 10 mi under ideal conditions ✅ in addition to creating a scent station in the shape of a wagon wheel, place one worn/dirty article or your slept-on pillowcase up high where the breeze will carry your scent. ✅ leave the gate, door or garage slightly open in case she finds her way home. and bring in any food you've left out for her by nightfall. leaving it out will only attract predators

✅ give flyers to mail carriers, delivery drivers, gardeners and landscapers, trash collectors, school crossing guards, school bus drivers, maintenance workers, kids on scooters/bikes and anyone in neighborhoods daily

✅ placing a large colorful sign in your yard (and neighbors' yards with their permission) or within view from the street makes it easier for finder to locate you

is Luna microchipped? check ARC shelter in Ontario. if she was found that's where she would be taken. ARC services Montclair not IVHS
