My classmate and I were leaving class when we found this beautiful girl wandering the streets & overheating and have been caring for her, but unfortunately I don’t have the space to keep her long-term with 2 huskies & a Shepherd. I’ve contacted shelters, but they are currently full, and I’m not comfortable surrendering her somewhere that may euthanize her. I want to make sure she goes somewhere safe and loving. ❤️ She appears to be a 1–2 year old Pit Bull mix and is already spayed but no microchip. She is genuinely such a sweet girl and has been an absolute sweetheart since I found her. She is a very good listener, well-mannered, and seems eager to please. She has so much love to give and deserves a family who will give her the same in return. I’m hoping to find someone who can give her a safe, permanent home where she’ll be loved and cared for. Please share this post even if you can’t take her, getting her to a safe home is my goal.❤️🐾

Debby Naej you DON'T KNOW who exactly she has contacted! I have contacted the "Pound" in other situations before and they were quite happy for me to hold the lost dog for a little while. They took full description and contact information. If they are a full up shelter what do you think is going to happen? Another dog will die... Just be kind to her and gently ask for more information and direct her to authorities. I've never heard of any legitimate shelter that didn't go through the proper channels. Just PLAY NICE!

Jacqueline Walsh she contacted rescues most likely , animal control won't turn them away , it's their job to take him in and locate the owners . THATS THE LAW !

Debby Naej did you even read what she wrote?. She said she's contacted the shelters and they are full. Obviously the dog has been reported and she's posting for the owner's sake but also taking next steps if no owner shows up. She's checked for microchip as well. The dog is less traumatized in her hands until an owner shows or a new forever home is found. Maybe hit pause before you attack a good person. There are plenty of animal abusers to focus that anger on.
