I just moved in on Friday Evening. He had a rough ride here, so I let him out of the carrier to move and stretch. As soon as he got out, he ran to the bedroom. I thought he was hiding under the bed. When I finished moving in, I went to check in on him, but he was nowhere to be found.

I was just going to mention that cats are very territorial and he may be hiding somewhere or maybe even trapped somewhere. Check very carefully inside. Turn down all noise and listen for a faint meow. I helped someone find their cat this way. If you are certain that your cat escaped , I’m sending tips to help find a lost cat
