Message from Owner

Neko is a true hse cat, except for loving to sit in the backyard. Somehow he got trapped outside overnight and something scared him off. He is afraid of everything, including people. He is a Mama's boy and I know he is somewhere terrified.

You can upload a clear photo of Neko to petcolove.org, Petco’s free Love Lost database. It uses facial recognition to help pet owners check shelters, vets and found-pet posts for possible matches. The AI looks at eye shape, markings, whiskers and tails. Since 2021, it’s helped reunite 250,000 pets with their people! Check back regularly for matches because more lost and found pets are added daily.

Try this once you realize is missing many times daily: Look under cars and bushes. Search in a different direction from where lost ea night. Walk neighborhood while shaking an open bag of Temptation treats (a must for success) as you call her/his name softly, very softly. Also bring a flashlight with you and look on trees, high up in case kitty was chased and climbed up. The eyes will beam like headlights when light is on them. IMPORTANT TO HAVE THE ""TREATS"" & ""FLASHLIGHT"" 🔦 (yr phone might work). Get low on the ground if you see kitty, so not to scare away. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Have these treats for this to work!! Bring kitty's blanket for scent purposes. 🔶️ Bring someone with you do not walk alone late at night, preferably someone kitty likes.🔶️ ♦️♦️CHECK YR LOCAL SHELTER IN CASE IT WAS PICKED UP BY ANIMAL CONTROL OR A NEIGHBOR BROUGHT IN FOR ROAMING. ♦️♦️
