Hilary A Vincent-Philpot It's sad that you don't find it helpful. I've run a rescue for the past 15 years. I receive calls daily from people looking for their "lost" cats that they've allowed to go outside and that "always come home." I spend hours trying to educate people and sadly many will tell me, "But my cat loves being outside," even if it's at the risk of them being killed by a predator. So while you don't think it's helpful, you haven't walked in my shoes. I'm a huge animal lover and it's devastating to me when animals are not protected. Yes, there are times that they slip out by accident, but this didn't sound like that.
