Message from Owner

She responds to her name "Smokey" as well as "Alexa" ( she doesn't realize Alexa is a device and not her.) Shes very sweet, bratty, and albeit a big foodie is a good weight. She will eat anything she can get her mouth on so careful with pill containers ect. She goes crazy for crunchy treats and tubes. I was in a very dark place in 2024 after loosing my mother to cancer, my job, car, partner of 8 yrs, and when I went to take down the missing posters for my last cat who was never found. She saw me and pulled me in ultimately saving my life. She has so much personality and has been the only thing having kept me afloat since. If anyone has any information please contact me, I will do anything for my girl. She saved me, I can only hope to return the favor. Love you Smokey-Bear. ♡

Check in bushes and under cars near your home, and on the next street over, especially in the evening with a flashlight, calling out to her and making a familiar sound. Ask neighbors if they might have seen her, and when they last did and which direction she headed if they have. If they have security cameras, video footage would help. Ask them if she might be trapped in their garage or shed. I hope she is found soon🙏🏻

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Mainly their litter box and sprinkle their used litter around the yard as they'll recognize the smell and it'll deter other animals from coming around. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one and to check their cameras in case they appeared on them to get a sense of direction they could be. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.
