He’s my buff little Jerr-bear. Left him outside on my way out for work on Thursday 9/24 at around 3PM. He’s very shy and is probably hiding and sheltering from the rain. Just found out he isn’t micro-chipped like I thought. I know he’s cold and scared out there right now

This site has good advice. Put out dirty clothes from the owner on your porch as cats can smell long distances and leave a door open. Walk around shaking treats and talking in a normal voice, but do NOT call his/her name. Play cat meows from YouTube & walk around day & night. This has helped find 2 cats! Hope he/she comes home soon. 🙏 Post neon flyers all around the area! Put out a cat trap if you know the area he/she may be and use an outdoor camera to make sure you are alerted immediately if he/she is caught. Walk around at night with a flash light too. Put out some things that smells like their favorite or familiar people. Do not use a litter box as this may be a beacon to predators as much as the kitty. Don't forget to change out the articles of things so the scent is refreshed. Ask your immediate neighbors and surrounding streets by 5 to 10 miles out to keep an eye out in garages, sheds, crawlspaces, porches, basements, and if possible under any places. Kitties can fit into some very small areas
