This dog has an owner. She is generally well mannered and was gentle and allowed me to leash her. She’s currently in my garage. She’s been fed and watered. I also took her on a walk to the same street she started following me. But have not seen anyone looking for her. I intend to take her to Orange County Animal Control when they open at 9am. I cannot keep her, even for a few days.

Please have it scanned for a microchip. Any vet will do it for free, including the emergency vets currently open. Pleas be sure to call 407-836-3111, press # and file a found dog report, as required by county law. Please be sure to only return it to an owner with lots of proof!!! PLEASE do not let someone "foster" it. Rarely do they continue to look for an owner. If you are unable to hold it for the required 30 days, please take it to the shelter. That is the first place an owner looks for their lost pet
