I was moving to Gold Canyon Arizona and somehow my big guy got out of his carrier. We opened the door while filling the car so my cats could see us and stay calm. We think this is when he ran out.

Unfortunately I do not know the exact place, city or even state that Prato may be in. I am leaving a post in every city that I got gas in on the last day of our move. I loaded him into the car from the hotel and started to Arizona. I filled up at 4 different gas stations. As I have no idea how or when he got out of his crate I can not follow normal protocol for a lost pet. I can only hope he is found and his chip is scanned. I have alerted the chip company so they now have my new address and phone number to give to anyone who might find him. I will forever search for him and pray for a miracle wherever he might be.

Please create a scent station where your cat escaped as well as where you think he/she is. Unwashed items with your and/or your cat’s scent. Keep checking them, especially when things quiet down. Look everywhere with a flashlight as cats freeze in a small ball in very tight places (capture your cat’s stare). Also put up simple flyers like the below (put in sheet protectors to protect from the weather. Check any security cameras in the area.
