Kindly edit this post to REUNITED as well. Indoor or outdoor only please do not allow out it will be a hard adjustment but coyotes are gonna get basil possibly next time if you don't do this... Microchip make sure if you notify chip company to update them same with the shelters it tremendously helps when a similar Are being found and they both can eliminate the ones Reunited... If Microchipped and you did not report missing to the chip company BE sure to call and DOUBLE check it actually got registered don't assume and make that mistake.BIG reason why many are at the shelters and or owners change numbers and they do not update chip company.

Make sure you put on Rancho Cordova Lost AND Found pets Facebook Group.Post to Nextdoor App and Neighbor'sring App daily so nobody forgets.In every post put MISSING with date, time, year escaped, Put in ranch Cordova with nearest cross streets and best numbers to call to go to any potential spottings immediately... You need to file a missing report with Sacramento SPCA on Florin Perkins Rd. If Rancho Animal service picks up that's where they will take.You should be looking at their loss and found section on their website daily but dont rely on it even if Microchipped.. Get in there religiously every other day or 2 speak with Animal Support Building every time your there and show them pictures as long as it takes.Get big fluorescent signs up all over.Call name early evening all the way through the morning many times they'll come out when it's really quiet and take a flashlight you might see eyes shining. Please update this Post if status changes...... I'm not sure if I read maybe there's typos indoor outdoor cat..... Not good in that area and that community's always warned keep animals inside because of all the coyotes around there... Truly hope basil is found and will be OK

Immediately (NOW)walk area shake treat bag or Bang on cat food can calling for your cat multiple times during the day-and-night especially when it's quiet out. Look under all bushes and in between houses. Ask your neighbors to check cameras garage, shed backyard. Post on nextdoor, get family & friends to search every day. Search at midnight-5am too call for ur kitten, listen for her meow
