Be sure to keep your post active by giving likes, respond to each comment/pic, post updates, etc. . . .in other words, show folks you are still searching for your baby so they will continue the search, too. Do not rely on someone contacting you via cell or email. Turn on notifications for each post you put up. You have to monitor your posts at all times so folks know you are still searching for your dog. Keep record of all of your posts, too. The more posts, the better the chances of someone seeing it. Every little step you take can make a difference since dogs only have 3 - 5 days at shelters and finders may unfortunately rehome your pet right away. We all do our best to help but it's you that must search everyday for your baby. You know your dog better than anyone else. ❤️

Does your dog have a microchip? Then be sure to update the contact info ASAP! If you don't have the number, contact the Vet or facility that inserted it.They will have the information you need. Put up signs in plastic sheet protectors (opening at bottom). Put in car windows, vets, groomers, pet stores, etc. Post Pics that show body markings so others can match to found dogs. If putting multiple pics, put the best pic at the upper left corner so it shows in searches. List lost cross streets, city and zip code up in post, not in comments . . . they get skipped over. Put a cell number but be very careful of scammers. Never send money or a code to someone that says they have your dog. Not having a number means finders can't contact you if needed right away. Follow other lost dog posts that look similar to your dog...it greatly improves the chances of finding your baby.

Post on as many sites as possible. If multiple dogs, post together and separately. Keep record of your posts and respond to everyone so they continue to help.
