FOUND DOG NORTH MIAMI This sweet dog came running into my hse, looking lost and confused. šŸ’” I’ve posted on the Ring/Neighbors app and in the North Miami community groups, but so far no one has claimed him or recognized him. He is incredibly sweet, but I unfortunately cannot keep him because I already have a dog who does not get along with other dogs. I also noticed that he has severe matting and is infested with fleas, so I’m concerned he may have been lost for some time or may not have been properly cared for. I really want to make sure he ends up somewhere safe and with people who will take good care of him. I’m looking for advice, a reputable rescue, foster, or anyone who can help me figure out the best next step. If you recognize him, know his owner, or have connections with a local rescue, PLEASE reach out or share this post. šŸ™šŸ¶ā¤ļø Found in North Miami Please share hopefully we can get this sweet boy the help he needs.

I’m Taking him to the vet now. Does anyone know of a groomer or vet I could take him to asap. A lot of the ones I called won’t take him without shot records.

~~~If you think it may be your dog go & see him to check… Even if it’s not your dog you may find your dog there… It could never hurt if you are looking for your loving pet… Best of luck…
~~~Give a copy of the picture with information to the mailman in the area… They encounter many people & situation… Put a sign with information & picture in your front yard if you can & @ stop signs… For found animals Please take him to check for a microchip it’s free @ any Vet,Pet store etc. … Always get your animal microchipped, it gives a better chance of being reunited… There is always the possibility that a neighbor may have taken your ā€œFur~Babyā€ in thinking it was abandoned… Report any animal missing or found to your local dog pound… PetCo has free software that uses photo recognition to match your photo to photos from rescues and shelters…

Take to any vet to get scanned for internal chip. It’s free to check.
