- Creating a dog scent station from a rescue who helps reunite pets. Take an unwashed article of THE OWNERS clothing.( Socks , Sheet, Underware & Hang it in a tree ,on a fence , a pole or edge of roof & put an article of unwashed clothes on ground below. The wind will carry the scent. If there is another dog in the home take that dog's fresh poop and rub it on a rag & hang it high . Open your gates. Your garage door , turn on all your lights. Put a rug or towel on porch with a bowl of water. Do not put the dog's bed or the dog's toys outside. The only scent we want is from the owners. Please do this ASAP. Rain or Shine.A dog can find its way back from miles by following a scent. They don't operate like humans on sight or sound. Also saturate the area with bright flyers.& file a lost report with your local shelters and check those in person in case your dog is there.

I am not sure if Iโ€™ve shared these tips with you or not but just in case I havenโ€™t. Milo is very cute. I hope he is found soon. Try not to get discouraged. I know it is hard. Tips for finding a missing dog Put something of his and yours outside. File a lost report with the shelters and visit them in person. Post on 559 lost and found pets and the Ring app if possible. If microchipped contact the company to let them know he is missing. Put up flyers. Be sure to notify your mail person. They can be a great resource since they are out in the neighborhood. I hope you find Milo soon. โค๏ธ More tips for finding a missing dog Creating a dog scent station from a rescue who helps reunite pets.
