You were angels from heaven. You can take the dog to any Petsmart and Banfield in the back will check for free for a microchip. If you can, please do this today that would be great. In addition post on all lost pet sites and nextdoor.com your neighborhood watch it goes out to hundreds of people. Please keep checking Pawboost to make sure someone has not reported this dog lost. I’m sure someone is frantically looking for it. Please call your shelter and say that you found this dog. Fax a picture owners usually call shelters to see if anybody has their Animal. Again, thank you and God bless you for saving this dogs life.

Thank you for helping this fur baby that you found… I’ve been helping with lost and found pets for over 11 years so I’m passionate about pet safety and pets being reunited. Your location where found is covered by the SC/DP Animal Shelter which is a no shelter. The shelter is closed at this time but you can call their main phone line (949) 492-1617 and leave a message and an Officer will respond as soon as possible. The shelter is one of the first places a pet parent will frantically call searching for their pet. Not everyone is on social media platforms as well. There’s a law that went into play that any stray dog brought into the shelter that is redeemed by owner WILL BE microchipped before being released which will help the dog going forward in the future in the event he/she gets out again. Thank you again for being a kind person to help this fur baby. 🐾🐶
