Description

The dog shown is NOT the lost dog but looks very similar to the one that was seen going into the wooded brush by Walgreens Oakdale, MN.

Message from Owner

I went to pick up at Walgreens oakdale, MN today and spotted a small yorkie mix with a pink collar. I went gently calling to her and she disappeared into the brush. I followed her but could not find her. She was hiding. I did find an old small dog crate in the brush with an old blanket in the crate. No water. The crate was open. I think the dog must be abandoned. Please help us rescue this little girl.

Dawn Taylor is your comment for me? That's exactly what I did for 2hrs. But it's actually best not to talk nor even make eye contact with the dog. It came close 2x but would not let me grab it. It sometimes isn't as simple as some think.

Maybe when trying to rescue a dog it is best to get down on the ground , bring some food and just talk and wait for them to come near. Just a thought.

Chika Rika a good samaritan put the kennel with a blanket out there when they couldn't catch it.

Robbie Callander I think they just used the image of this lost dog(Bear) to show size/looks of sighted dog are similar...?

Missy Kabylnick I’m confused about this post because this is a lost post for a dog named bear but in the description it is a sighting description. Is this meant to be a lost post for a dog named bear and if not how does the original poster know that the sighti eyed dog that was caught is named bear?
