Check garages sheds window wells porches bushes under decks vehicles. Ask neighbors to check these places incase he got locked in someplace and can't get out. Go out day and night calling his name. Also look up trees. Cats will climb up trees if something scares them. Go in person to animal control shelters vets to see if someone dropped him off. It's very important to check the hoods of vehicles. Cats will climb up under the hood of a vehicle to stay warm. They also can travel under one. Even get dumped far out. Cats can travel a distance. ( Not saying he did, but it happens.) Check out all the lost and found sites daily. Check the storm drains too. Call his name! Shake a bag of treats. Call his name! It's very important that you keep doing everything that I suggested in my comment everyday and night. 🙏♥️! Also Check surrounding neighborhoods too. Please keep doing everything that I suggested day and night

Put clothes with your scent outside and check bushes and trees with a flashlight at night shake bag of treats or dry food and call it's name

LOST CAT OPEN DOOR Scatter the contents of your hoover bag around the outside boundary of your home - they can scent their way home from miles away, using the familiar smell of your home. If putting out clothing make sure that it hasn’t been washed so that it smells of “you”. Going out late at night/ early morning when it is quieter and less noise distraction around will make it easier for you to hear each other’s calls. If you are calling for him make sure you do this as you walk towards your home not away from it so that if he follows the direction of your voice you’re leading him home, not further away. Also ask any neighbours to check their sheds/ outbuildings in case he’s been inquisitive and got trapped inside somewhere. If he is an indoor cat he is likely scared and hiding somewhere very close by - look under/behind any items/objects that he may be seeking shelter from - under bushes, behind bins etc. when searching at night take a torch - the light from its beam will reflect in his eyes and you will be able to spot him even if he doesn’t respond to your calls. Put up posters in all surrounding streets and inform the microchip company that he is missing.Put out water, and some of YOUR dirty clothes (dirty socks are nice and stinky)/blankets (dry in dryer first to enhance smell). Depending on the weather, you might want to put out a plastic tub with straw for shelter. Go out every morning and evening walking (folks seem successful around 10:30 p.m., but don't go alone) with food/treats in bowl rattling it, calling your cats name. Cats are often hiding within a 5-house radius. Do NOT give up. There was a cat a week or so ago, they went out every night for 5 nights, finally on the 5th night, they heard it's meow, it was trapped in a neighbor's shed. Another was hiding in a tree from the neighbor's dogs. Check buildings, bushes, trees, and storm drains around your house. Also in the house/garage, keep all doors/closets OPEN in case it's hiding in the house. If you can, leave door cracked open from which cat would most likely sneak back in during the night. If desperate, sprinkle your urine near the cracked door as stronger scent guidance. Worked for us!

Put litter box out for scent Crack open garage door and put his food water and bed inside to attract him Get a humane trap Look under bushes and decks and anywhere he could be hiding Look at dawn and dusk with a flashlight and food Have neighbors check ring cam Make flyers with pictures and put up in the area Give to vet offices and shelters and police and animal control Call microchip company Keep looking and calling Hope home safe soon Don't let out side it's too dangerous
