"My little cat Cheeto generally stayed close to & played in my yard with his brother & sister litter mates, which makes it unusual for him to suddenly disappear. He is afraid of humans he doesn't know, & wouldn't voluntarily allow himself to be picked up by a stranger. He would have returned on his own unless he's been trapped & confined, removed from the area or had a mishap.
