Description

🚨 REWARD β€” MISSING CORGI, LIKELY TAKEN IN A VEHICLE β€” La Selva Beach / Aptos 🚨 Taffy, our tricolor corgi (black, tan, and white; white stripe up her face; ~22 lbs; microchipped) went missing from our yard near the La Selva Beach KOA on July 4 at 5:18 PM. Her GPS collar tells a clear story: at 5:18 she was in front of our hse. Within minutes she was moving at vehicle speed south on San Andreas Road, reaching Beach Street by 5:26. Her collar was then removed and thrown into a ditch. No dog moves that fast β€” someone picked her up. We are urgently looking for: Doorbell, dash, or security camera footage from San Andreas Rd or Beach St between 5:15 and 5:30 PM on July 4 Anyone who saw a car stopped near the KOA around 5:18, or someone lifting a corgi into a vehicle Sightings of a "new" corgi in someone's yard, home, or car β€” not just a loose dog She will likely have no collar or a different collar. If you see her, please don't chase β€” call/text [YOUR PHONE] with location, time, and direction. REWARD for her safe return or information that directly leads to her. No questions asked. Taffy is microchipped β€” any vet or shelter can scan her and confirm she's ours. Please share this post. She is deeply loved and we just want her home. Thank you.

Message from Owner

Taffy is our missing corgi. She went missing on July 4 from the La Selva Beach / Aptos area. She is about 22 lbs and is microchipped. According to her GPS tracker, she appeared to move approximately 3 miles away from our home within about 2 minutes of leaving our yard. We later found her GPS collar discarded in a ditch about 3 miles away. Because of how quickly she moved and where the collar was found, we are very concerned that she may have been picked up or transported in a vehicle. Taffy may no longer be wearing her GPS collar, so please keep an eye out for a corgi without a collar or with a different collar. If you see her, please do not chase her. Call or text immediately with the exact location, time seen, and direction she was heading. Please also contact us if you saw anyone pick up a corgi, saw anything unusual in the area, have doorbell/security camera footage, or found anything that may be related. She may be scared because of fireworks. Please check garages, sheds, decks, side yards, under cars, and quiet hiding spots nearby. We are very worried and just want to get Taffy home safely. She is deeply loved. Thank you for any help.
