Message from Owner

I just moved to the Brassfield Meadows subdivision and both my cats, Mochi and George must’ve been real stressed by the move and darted out the grge door when my husband left it open. She is very skittish and nocturnal. Has a little extra weight on her supported by skinny legs. Please text Jessica at if seen.

I believe she missed the outdoors. I had her inside for about 9 months when she had been an outdoor cat all her life. Same with her brother, George, but he came back to me. I just miss her sweet face and would love to see her again.

I’d put out on your porch or near your garage a litterbox, blanket, etc anything with both your cats scents on it. Sometimes that will attract them back home. I hope she’s found soon!

Dianne Banton thank you very much for the tips. I am still searching for Mochi and I have employed most of these tips, except the trap. I will only use the trap if I can get a confirmed sighting of her in my area. I have a suion that she has been taken inside by a neighbor that either has not reported her found yet, or doesn’t intend to. My other cat that got out at the same time returned over a week ago.

Call softly late night early morning when it quite out .. For indoor cat if there is any way you could leave your door garage door or window slightly ajar if possible they know where they got out .. cats will hide during the day and are more active late evening near dark to early morning , daybreak ... have a spot light to shine to see eyes in the dark .. they are usually close by and will often come back to the door .. or hide under bushes or decks to feel safe ! Also check crawl spaces under houses , garages, sheds of neighbors nearby ... check culvert pipes .. storm drains .. up trees .. and under car hoods and tires also ...this can happen and they could be miles from home . Cats in a new home need at least 30 days to adjust to a new area and may and will travel to get back to their old home .. A set trap may be needed and monitored! Trail cam help to monitor the areas! Post to Nextdoor ... Check with area Shelters, Animal Control, and Vets offices also put flyers ... Am sure you have tried most all of these! Don't give up!!
