Message from Owner

We lost our Sunday morning when she slipped out the door. She is a former feral, but very friendly. She may be under decks, sheds or dense shrubs/trees. That is what she was familiar with before she was rescued. We miss her and are extremely worried about her, as we just moved to the area and she has never been outside here. Any help is so appreciated. We just want to get her back home and safe.

Lynette Wherley thank you. We're doing all we can and also trying to keep faith that she will find her way back. You're right, kitties can be a gone a long time. We just have to remind ourselves of that ❤️

Get water our 24/7. They need it more than food. Register to all lost sites. Try a trap with tuna. Only when you’re home to monitor it frequently. A trap can be very effective because of their freak out factor. Could be an intruder cat is keeping him off his own yard. Or coming through so he is hiding. Or could be being fed by someone else. Go out and call him and shake a treat bag. Walk around the neighborhood. Leave your garage up a bit if you can. Go out at night with a flashlight to look for glowing eyes. Get posters up everywhere. Put in gallon ziplock bags that are upside down to guard against precipitation. Put posters all around your area and further out at major crossroads. This is key to alert neighbors he is missing. Ask neighbors to check under sheds, cars, bushes, decks and inside sheds, garages, window wells and behind bushes and up trees. Check your county shelter every couple days in person. Good luck. Kitties can be gone for awhile. Don’t give up.

Go out at night time and call out for her because she's roaming around at night and she sleeps during the day that's what they do when they're out so I would go outside at night time and just walk through the neighborhood calling for her cuz she's scared

Michele Grisco I have been doing that as well as setting out her old litter. I'm reasonably certain that she's still around, just playing an expert game of hide and seek. Meanwhile I have become the neighborhood creeper with my flashlight in yards, bushes and brushy areas at dawn and dusk. The things we do for the animals we love..
