PLEASE - ASAP deliver "Lost Cat" flyers to all your neighbors within a 1/4 mile radius in all directions. An indoor housecat that escapes will usually not wander too far from home -unlike cats that are allowed out to roam. You can design the flyers from the Pawboost site. Mention if she is chipped or not. OFFER A REWARD! A lot of people are not on social media and will not see online posts. They NEED a flyer so they know to watch for her and call if seen! Ask neighbors if you can go on their property to search for her. The best time is at night and very early morning. Search under bushes, patios, decks and up in trees. Use a flashlight so you can see her eyes. Ask neighbors to take a look in their sheds, outbuildings, storage areas and garages. Put some of your unwashed laundry and bedsheet along with her bedding outside. She may be able to catch the scents and find her way back. Do not put her litter pan out - it can attract unwanted animals. Sit in your yard at night with a can of tuna or canned cat food and tap on it while you call her name softly. She is probably hiding and is not willing to reveal herself. Do an online search "best ways to find a lost housecat" for expert tips. Follow the suggestions to increase your chances of finding her! Go to the animal shelter or Animal Control Services to see if someone may have taken her there. Take a photo of her with you. It is going to take some time and effort on your part, but I'm sure she's worth it! Praying.
