Put his bedding and dirty clothes outside and dirtier the better.Even hang it out side they can smell it for miles.put your dirty coat outside and they stay close to your house because they are scared to be outside and hiding in the shrubs and hedges Look for him in the evening softly calling his name with a flash light and don't give up this is how we got our cat back after 3weeks with the help of our vet.WARNING IF YOU LIVE OUT OF THE ENTER CITY YOU HAVE TO WATCH THE LITTER BOX 24 7 FOR OTHER ANIMALS AND PREDATORS ALL THE TIME please Put his toys and bedding and cat tree on the porch and water and food and your dirty coat outside and check all the shelters close to you in person every few days Ask your neighbor if you can ck their garage and sheds and gutters and on the roofs.take your dirty vacuum bag and shake it all around your property they can smell it for miles.

Yuliia Novoderezhkina I read a success story posted by a girl - she sprayed her perfume on the 4 tires of her car and the cat was found under the car. I pray your cat will follow your familiar scent home - but if he is not used to being outside - he will be scared of all the noises. Give him time.

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. NO CAT BOX OR FOOD. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

I’m so sorry your kitty is missing. Try these tips to help get him back. Open your garage door just enough for him to go under. Put food, water and some unwashed clothing in there for familiar scent. Then walk your neighborhood, especially after dark. Carry an open can of catfood or tuna he might smell. Call his name. Then I think is a very good tool to get him back. Make flyers with his picture and your phone number. Tape one to every neighbors front door. So they will know you are looking. They will bring the flyer inside and will have your number handy if they see him. Of course make a missing cat report with the shelter. If he is chipped call the chip co and make sure all your info is correct. I wish you the best of luck. Orange kitties are special. Don’t give up looking for him. He’s lost and needs you to find him.
