Description

Spayed domestic shorthair with tabby coloration and pale, green-ish yellow eyes. She's round in build and is a little bit on the small side. Other distinguishable features include long whiskers, small black rings in the corner of her eyes (by the tear ducts), and a small notch on the outer side of her left ear near the tip. She was last seen wearing a white collar with pink flowers printed on it, and a rainbow colored tag in the shape of a star. The collar also has a bell on it so you may hear her before you see her.

Message from Owner

Samari is normally a friendly and affectionate cat who loves attention, and also has a tendency to cause trouble and get into things she's not supposed to. She wears a collar but is NOT and outdoor cat, so right now she's lost and very scared, and is likely hiding somewhere underneath something or in some other hard to reach area. She's highly food motivated and will probably be hungry when found, so food could help to lure her out if she's hiding under something. Lastly she's not friendly towards other cats, and will become agitated and aggressive if faced with one, so please be aware of that when handling her. My name is Devan and my phone number is, which is also engraved on the back of Samari's tag. Please contact me immediately if you find Samari or think you may have spotted her somewhere. Thank you!

Have a pet go missing can be overwhelming. Here are something’s that might be of help. POST to all Facebook lost/found pet and local groups & front porch forum. Share with all Facebook friends. Make 1/2 page fliers and give to all neighbors and delivery people. Ask people to check sheds, garages, bats and any places pet could be hiding. Send fliers to veterinarians and shelters in 60 mile radius… Look over all lost/found pet groups posts and pictures sections. Walk/drive a couple blocks around your area…day/night(flashlight) Calmly call their name and shake a treat container. They are in flight/fight survival hiding mode and can stay hid for days or weeks. Safely leave/secure a window, porch or garage door open only wide enough for your pet to get in. Put out items with the pet’s/family’s scent on them on your deck, porch or garage in a temporary covered shelter, cat carrier, crate or box. Put cat nip, smelly food/water in or near temp shelter. Use a security, hunting camera or monitor to see if your pet is coming around, if so then put a humane trap out. Make & Put up full size fliers in plastic protective sleeves, tape bottoms closed with neon duct tape. Hang up on wood poles, under metal street signs and in near by businesses. Hoping for a safe and fast return. 🙏💖
