Message from Owner

Teddy is a beautiful cat, with a face that reflects his heart. His favorite way of showing (and getting) affection is to lie down in front of you on the ground and roll over so you can pet his belly with your foot! His second favor is to spread himself on your upper chest and rub his head hard up against you. He is a lover.

Tips to find your kitty: Go out around 3am, shaking a plastic cup or can of dry kibble calling kitties name. Llistencarefullly for a faint meow. Follow that meow calling its name. Use a flashlight to look in bushes, under cars and small hiding places. Have a can of wet food and/or treats to give kitty to lure them out. They are afraid and it may take some time to get kitty to come out. Maybe even a couple of days. Be patient, do not give up. Cats honker down when they are terrified remaining motionless and quiet. Put an item of your used clothing outside by the door it ran out of. They can pick up your scent for over a long distance. If you have a used cat box, put that outside also to lure them home by scent. Ask neighbors and gardeners if they have seen your kitty, even if it was dead. On a darker note, coyotes will generally leave parts behind, leg as, tail and possibly head. Ask if anyone saw any remains anywhere. At least you will have closure. My cat hid out for 30 days.it took me an additional 5 days to get him back in the house, bribing him with treats. He was hiding under my neighbor's house next door and another house across the street. I went out at 3am, when it was quiet, and kept up contact until he finally came back in following a trail of treats home. He did not meow, he did not know how. He now knows how to meow and has never left again. He also comes when his name is called now too. Anywhere in the house. He gets treats everytime he does now😊. Our bond to find each other forevermore. Good luck. Do not give up hope.
