Description

Mix breed, very short like dachund, off black coloring. Afraid of people, does well with big dogs. Perhaps not leash trained, likes being outside, gets bored/lonely inside but sleeps well in open crate. Chip reader says no (?) he is getting used to me, but not enough to get a harness on him yet… Update 7/20 Found dog still seeking owner! Our little boy is blossoming, he truly loves playing with the big dogs. Loves and seeks human affection as well, but still gets fearful if i try to pick him up. hse trained/doggy door trained. Eats heartily, is learning to stand at the head of the line for human food… so you need to claim him before he becomes a professional beggar 😘 he is very affectionate, and tries to jump up to sit in my lap but cant reach it. When i try to assist he scrambles away. Maybe i will get him some stairs.

Message from Finder

Sorry this took so long to put out, i had my own dog emergency next day and have been focused…he is sweet and young, has that puppy fearlessness with other dogs.

🐾 Here are a few things to try if you've found a lost pet in Arizona. The NEIGHBORS by Ring app is amazing! 🎉 It has an impressive success rate, helping reunite about 70% of lost pets with their owners—often within hours. Ring and NEIGHBORS by Ring are two different apps, and you do NOT need a Ring device to use NEIGHBORS. It only takes about 5 minutes to download the app and create a post, making it one of the fastest and most effective ways to help reunite a lost pet with its family.🎉 To quickly reach many people within a three mile radius: ▪️ Post the found pet on NEIGHBORS by Ring. ▪️ Also post on Nextdoor ▪️ Make simple flyers using a piece of paper and a Sharpie. Packing tape works great for hanging them up. ▪️ Place 4–8 flyers at the major intersections closest to where the pet was found. ▪️ Put a box in your front yard and write FOUND DOG or FOUND CAT in big letters so if the owners are driving the neighborhood, hopefully they will see it.🥰 ▪️ Your flyers don't have to be fancy. Just write: FOUND DOG/CAT BREED SIZE COLOR YOUR PHONE NUMBER THAT'S IT! ▪️ Take the pet to any veterinary clinic and have them scanned for a microchip. It's free. ▪️ Don't assume the pet was abandoned. Their family may be desperately searching for them. ❤️ Every post, flyer, and microchip scan increases the chances of a happy reunion. ~ Lex Harrison 🐾 13-Year Rescue Advocate in Arizona
