Also, if you have a dog, or if you know of anybody with the tracking or hunting dog, that might be another option. If the dog can get the scent of Jethro from a cat bed or scratching post, a dog might lead you to where he is. It's worth a shot.

He's not going to come just by calling because he is terrified by the whole ordeal. Please go back to the area and call his name while carrying an open can of cat food or tuna. At this point, hunger May lure him out of hiding but may not. Also go back out at night when everything is quiet and dark and search with the flashlight because his eyes will glow. He's probably in that area, maybe within a block, or maybe exactly where he got out. He could be up in a tree or hiding inside or under something like a bunch of rocks, shrubs, tall grass, a culvert, or any buildings. Please put up large missing cat posters, the neon colored poster board works well, leave the cat's description and your info with any homes or businesses nearby. Also, it's very important that you notify Animal Control and keep checking with animal control at least once a week. If not found at night you can always go back early morning before dawn because cats tend to be active around that time. Please leave out bowls of water for him. Please don't give up. Post on all local social media groups for that area's city and county.
