🚨 LOST DOG – WHAT TO DO IMMEDIATELY TO HELP BRING YOUR DOG HOME 🚨 If your dog is missing, follow these critical steps right away: 🏠 Bring Them Home with Scent and Access • Hang dirty laundry (T-shirts, socks, shoes) high on a fence or branch to allow the wind to carry the scent—use items worn by the person your dog is most bonded with. • Dogs can smell home from miles away—your scent can guide them back. • Leave an access point open such as a cracked garage or front door in case they return. • Sleep near the front door if possible—your presence may help them feel safe enough to come back. • If you have other pets, keep them secured in a separate room. 📣 Post large Signs & Notify Everyone • Make signs with a clear photo and your contact info. • Put signs everywhere—on poles, street corners, and especially on doorsteps in the neighborhood. • Ask neighbors to check security cameras (e.g., Ring) for sightings. 🌐 Spread the Word Online • Post on local: • Lost & Found Facebook groups • Nextdoor • PawBoost • Ring Neighbors app • Include your contact info, dog’s name, and location last seen. 🐶 Microchip & Shelter Alerts • If your dog is microchipped, notify the chip company immediately and mark your pet as lost. • Call ALL nearby (even 1-2 hours away) animal shelters and rescues, and leave a detailed voicemail if no one answers. Follow up daily

If haven't you need to put on Rancho Cordova Lost and found pets Facebook Group DAILY every other, Same with Nextdoor App and Neighbor'sring App so nobody forgets.. In every single post you need to keep it simple because people may read this and feel like you're accusing them then they won't respond. In Every post you need to put MISSING with date, time and year escaped, put in Rancho Cordova with nearest cross streets, And best numbers to call so you can go immediately somebody willing for you to any potential spottings day or night don't you know that's critical.DO NOT rely on comment notifications because you may get a few days later and it will not do any good. You need to file a missing report with SPCA Sacramento Florin Perkins Rd.If Animal control picks up they will take their.Unless If they find in Sacramento County or Rosemont they'll take to Bradshaw shelter... Every owner's responsibility to get into the shelters every other day speak with them and show pictures and be consistent about it.. Shelters are so full they can only accept a few everyday so many finders are holding on to them and will keep trying to go back in. Please respond so you say your dogs are everything I would hope you have Microchipped correct for its sake??
