Apple is a small sweet bird and is so special to us, and we miss her dearly. She may reappear on a patio or in backyard foliage. Some water and a little bird seed, fruit, or veggie left out may encourage her. She may also respond to soft whistles. If you spot her, and are close to her, you can toss a soft towel or blanket over her to catch her gently. Our heartfelt thanks.

Lost and found pets of North County by chance do you have the posting you can share? (sorry just seeing this response. Our mom made this post. Apple is my sister bird). We have posted her everywhere, been checking all of the lost & found postings and haven't seen anything that matched apple 😢 Any leads would be so appreciated ❤️
