Your post, from Linda, is very good advice. Just wanted to add to her post by saying "If, you the owner, can go out and call Lucy, 11pm onward it is quiet. Less noise from vehicles and people. When you call out Lucy, stop and listen before moving on. Lucy can then be heard, by your voice, and come to you or at least you will be able to hear Lucy, Meow, if Lucy is stuck somewhere. Also, at this time, look at windows in other houses, as again, if Lucy, can hear you, she will appear in the window. Again, just another idea. Do you happen to have another cat? If you did, another thought would be to take your other cat, in a kitty type cage, and walk and stop, calling out Lucy... your other Kitty, again, if you have one, can give out a scent & from this scent, Lucy may appear..... We are all waiting for a positive response. If you like, you can email me directly and then maybe we can chat on the phone, for more ideas.................👍

Likely hiding close by or up a tree within 5 or 6 houses away. Ask neighbours to check sheds, garages and under decks and bushes. Go out with flashlight when quiet and dark. Get posters up asap using zip lock bags. Leave soiled article of your clothing outside to draw home. Leave door open a few inches and kitty may walk inside typically between 2 and 4 am. Motion lights and security cameras are really helpful. Make sure your microchip information is up to date or it will be useless. Good luck!
