Message from Finder

I greet all the neighborhood cats and they usually ignore me and go about their business. This one came right up and was very friendly/somewhat desperate for attention. Very, very sweet cat. Might just be a new outdoor boy in the area, but it's notable I hadn't seen him before with how many strays there are around here. He's got evidence of fleas and is missing some of his ear, but is in relatively decent shape for an outdoor cat so I can't be certain. He also scarfed the can over food I gave him pretty fast. I would have done more to secure him, but I don't have a way to keep him separate from my own indoor cat. I get the feeling he'll be back, though. I hope he already has a home and just stopped by, but he seemed like he was communicating more than the typical friendliness that orange cats are known for and wanted inside. Better safe than sorry if someone is missing him, so I'm making this post.
