Message from Owner

Stryker is so missed. He disappeared after a big thunderstorm. He is terrified of thunder and likely lost the scent to find his way back home. PLEASE reach out with any information you might have. He's never been gone this long before and our hearts are breaking...

To get your cat back do the following. Make a poster with your cats information following the example I have included. If you offer a reward then expect to attract scammers. DO NOT HAND OVER ABY MONY UNTIL YOU HAVE YOUR CST IN YOUR POSSESSION. Place the poster in a plastic sheet cover and adhere to fluorescent poster paper and tape with packing tape to light posts in high foot traffic areas. Once you locate your cat you will most likely need a cat trap to secure your cat as it will probably be in survival mode. DO NOT LEAVE THE TRAP UNATTENDED. Once set constantly monitor to ensure you TRAP ONLY YOUR CAT and not someone else’s pet it wildlife.

Rent or borrow a humane trap. The SPCA and other animal shelters rent them out for $100. When you return the trap you get your $100 back. Place the trap near where the cat escaped. Put some of the cat's favorite food and treats inside of the trap along with an article of your clothing with your scent on it. This method worked for me on two different occasions. If you trap the wrong cat or some other animal, put a blanket over the trap leaving the door exposed. Stand behind the trap and release the animal. Reset the trap. Time is of the essence so do this asap. Good luck and God bless.
