If Arly is normally an INSIDE cat… then he is definitely scared and hiding and you will need to go out at NIGHT with a flashlight and look for his “glowing” eyes. He is VERY CLOSE to your house… most likely in YOUR OWN YARD. They usually find a hiding spot very quickly and very close to where they escaped. Look up in the trees and check under everything in YOUR YARD first… under decks, under sheds, inside bushes, wood piles and storm drains. Then check your neighbors yards. They are very good at hiding. THE BEST TIME TO FIND HIM IS AT NIGHT WITH A FLASHLIGHT AND HIS EYES WILL “GLOW” BACK AT YOU. Arly is so scared, he will NOT respond to you calling him, so you'll have to use your eyes instead of your ears to find him. When cats are suddenly outside, they go into "survival mode" and their entire personality changes. They will NOT wander. They find a hiding spot very close by and are very scared and will not come out for anyone... even their owners. I hope you find your fur-baby very soon!

If your kitty is an indoor cat then your kitty is close to home and too afraid to come when called. Put his/her dirty kitty litter outside and look with a flashlight at night under yours and your neighbors bushes and decks for your kitty’s eyes to glow back at you. You should also try a humane trap asap as that is the most effective way to find him/her. You can bait it with stinky sardines. You can buy one from your local hardware store or borrow one from the Human Society. It sounds extreme to do this but loose pets go into survival mode and act differently. Google how to use one. Visit your local animal shelters in person. Put up flyers within a 4 mile radius. Sightings are very important. Also there are many excellent “how to find your missing cat” videos on YouTube Tube. ***Sadly, there are scammers that may tell you to check out a search team or want to send you a code saying they have your cat. Do not respond. **
