David Wiggins Thank you! We have hung flyers, talked to neighbors and have a humane trap set near the last place he was seen.

Tina Magnuson Thank you for your comment! We have done all of those things. He escaped from us. We didn’t intentionally let him roam. We know the general vacinity he is in and saw him several times throughout the night, but he is scared and was running away from raccoons and other cats. We haven’t seen him since around midnight.

I am the owner. He was lost in Jersey City on Waldo Ave between Elizabeth street and Trenton street. I said he’s grey, but really he is tabby colored mixed with a fully black back, a fully white chest and white paws. His fur is long on his belly and back with tufts in his ears. His most identifiable feature is that he has NO TAIL.

First put out a big bowl of water IMMEDIATELY. Then, did you try the kitty litter trick? Take some litter from their box and sprinkle outside leading to your door then call them constantly especially at dawn and dusk and when it's quiet. Kitty will follow its scent and your voice home. It's no doubt scared and hiding. You can also try a stinky can of sardines! Or if kitty is a cuddler, try putting an article of your clothing by your door. Ask your mail carrier to keep an eye out, too. Also check area garages, under car hoods, shelters, local rescue groups, Nextdoor and Pawboost for found kitties in and near your zip. Don’t give up. And post flyers around your neighborhood. Good luck! And please keep your kitty inside if you let it out!! Between coyotes, diseases, bad actors and cars, there are so many ways harm can come to them!!! Finally, if your kitty isn’t fixed, please spay/neuter!
