1. Also post on Next Door. Talk to neighbors who may not be on social media. 2. If microchipped notify the company and be sure information is current. 3. Post flyers on neon colored poster paper and put in plastic zip lock bags. 4. Look under houses, porches, decks, grills and bushes. 5. Look up in trees. Look in garages, sheds, drain pipes, driveway culverts and sewers. Leave garage door cracked open. 6. Go out at night but midnight-6 am is best when cats are most active. Take a strong flash light to reflect on his eyes. Call calmly and take treats. 7. Set up outdoor camera to see if coming up about $35 Walmart. 8. If seen on camera set a have -a-heart cat trap. Borrow from a rescue or buy at a tractor supply. - bait with canned mackerel or sardines. Put a tarp or dark towel over the top part not the ends so cat can breathe. - sync a trail camera to the trap to monitor activity from your cell phone. - take cat out inside to avoid escape - don’t leave trap out overnight. 9. Indoor - outdoor cats are usually hiding or stuck within 3-17 houses or 345 yards unless they hitched a ride. 10. Put out water so cat can survive. 11. Set out worn clothing of his favorite person. Do not put out litter it can attract predators and strays. 12. Go to all area shelters every day or two in Person. People hold on to pets then take them. Shelters are full and hold times short . 13. Hire a pet tracker asap. - Balynda Brown www.Bravok911.com 919-418-7953 award winning … - Epic Animal Recovery 704-770-8625 call or text - both are on Facebook K-9’s on call Erin Eaton is local for you
