Keep your post active so it is seen by folks. Respond to anyone that comments and hit like. It makes a difference on your post being seen. Do not rely on someone contacting you via cell or email. You have to monitor your posts at all times so folks know you are still searching for your dog. You know your dog better than anyone else. We all do our best to help but it's you that must search everyday for your baby.

Put up signs . . . Put in car windows, vets, groomers, pet stores, etc. Update microchip ASAP! Post Pics that show body markings so others can match to found dogs. List lost location and zip code up in post Monitor all of your posts and respond to each comment so people keep helping. Do not rely on someone calling or messaging you. Many will leave found info on your post. Your post will stay more active when you keep the conversations going. Put a cell number but be very careful of scammers. Never send money or a code to someone that says they have your dog. Not having a number means finders can't contact you if needed right away. Follow other lost dog posts that look similar to your dog...greatly improves the chances of finding your baby.

Not from your area, but some of the information can be helpful Act Fast to Locate Your Dog! Don't wait thinking your dog will simply come back. Every day counts! Shelters and ACS are being forced to adopt out pets after the 3-5 day waiting period. Post on as many sites as possible. If multiple dogs, post together and separately. Keep record of your posts and respond to everyone so they contine to help. Nextdoor - ask a neighbor to post if not registered Pawboost - most widely used site Lostmydoggie Humane Society locations Craigslist Petco Love Lost Lost Dogs of Texas 24petconnect Let Local shelters and ACS know your dog is missing. ***Visit/View online shelters and Animal Care Services (ACS) daily for your dog - and not just the shelter near you. Large dogs can travel many miles each day. Ask about found injured pets since they may be at a vet or another area. IMPORTANT! Visit the Facebook San Antonio Urgents and Adoptables site often. These are the dogs at most risk of being euthanized.
