Message from Owner

She was sick and I just nursed her back to health. I woke her up every day to feed her and one day she was gone. The pet detectives refused to help me and one called me on a blocked number while I was in the doctor office and she is so entitled and uncaring that you didn't even call me back. I waited all day and all night hungry and sick from this. Please look for her. If you see her grab her up please. I am the third hse on the right from Alameda. It is gray.

Shared. Please have them put the cat’s carrier or a empty box outside with some of there worn clothing inside also something with the cats sent.there kitty will be able to smell their way back home. Put a trail of cat nip outside from where cat got out. Leave your garage and lanai doors open enough for your cat to get back inside. Kindly ask your neighbors to check their garages, sheds or any other outdoor hiding place to ensure your cat isn’t trapped. Also check under bushes and cars, up in trees, in and under sheds and in and around ditches and drainage pipes. If cat eats dry food put some in dish cover and walk around outside shaking the dish or cats treats can be used or hold a open can of wet food or open can of tuna.

Keep a close daily check on your local county animal services website, under their Found Pets section. Hopefully, the cat has a microchip that will help a lot too.

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Mainly their litter box and sprinkle their used litter around the yard as they'll recognize the smell and it'll deter other animals from coming around. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one and to check their cameras in case they appeared on them to get a sense of direction they could be. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.

The only way a lost cat can find its way home is with its nose. They have to use their sense of smell to get home again. Put anything outside that smells like their territory. Put the pajamas you slept in outside because you probably sweated in them. Put out their food your stinky socks your smelly sneakers anything you can think of that the cat will recognize by smell. Cats usually stay within a five house radius of their own home for up to a week or so sleeping in the bushes during the day and coming out at dusk and dawn. Those are good times to take a walk shaking the treat bag calling out but cats also tend to come out and walk around very late at night. Try to keep a door cracked if you can whether it's the garage or whatever or a window cracked so you can hear them if they call out for you. Put this on all of the neighborhood pages as well as lost and found pets sites. Knock on the neighbors doors and make sure they know you're looking for your cat. Good luck PS cats can smell up to one mile away from their own house. Absolutely no litterbox outside or food. It attracts predators is why. Never give up.
