Ragdoll, Blue Eyes, Maybe shy but friendly if approach slowly

My grandmother’s cat has been missing for four days now, despite him being a ragdoll, a breed that should not be let outside, she made the choice to do so. He has been an outdoor indoor cat for about 5 years. He has never gone far from home, staying in the back and front yard of my grandmothers hse and at most going into neighbors yards within my grandmother’s cul-de-sac, the neighborhood knows of him and have never raised any concerns or displeasure about him going on their property. Despite his breed he has always had good outdoor instincts and he has always come home before it gets dark. I know some will judge the decision my grandmother made to allow him to go outside, which is understandable, but she really loves his cat and has been searching for him and asking around since he didn’t come home.
