I don’t know if anyone can see this but just a warning I recieved a call from someone claiming to be from Knoxville sheriff dept saying he was David Wayne and my cat was side swiped and going to humane society for surgery and I would get a call from Robert Greene. This was a scam the police department said David Wayne doesn’t work there and when Robert Green called he was confronted and went from professional to ghetto fast. I pray this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Amber Dawn Ask your neighbors if they know of any traps. This happened when my house kitty slipped out one day. She got curious and got caught in a close neighbor's trap. My baby came straight home soon as they released her. People set traps to catch vermin and sadly our pets sometimes.

I am so sorry about your Kitty being lost. Put the Owner's worn clothes outside all around the house or where the kitty was lost. Kitties don't go far, but they do hide a lot. When it is quiet and darker, go out and shake her food bowl and treat bag and hopefully she will hear it and come out. Take a flashlight out at night Kitty’s eyes will reflect and make the kitty easier to see. Talk quietly to her like you would if she was inside - yelling can scare them, though this is what we want to do because we want them HOME!! Knock on doors. Someone may have taken your Kitty in so she/he doesn't get hurt. Also ck with your Neighbors and ck their storage areas, sheds, etc. I know of a Kitty who was found in a storage room that had only been open for 5 mins. Put out flyers everywhere - stores, intersections, etc., and put the info on your car windows so that it gets the info out to more people. Use multiple actions to find your Pet...using only one may limit your success in getting your Kitty Home. Look inside over and over. Shake treats. Open food cans if you use canned food. - Any sound that the Kitty may come to. They are very good at hiding so she may have never left the house. Check with delivery people (mail, Amazon, Fed Ex, UPS, etc.) to see if they have seen your Pet. Ask your Neighbors to check their outdoor cameras. I'll be Praying for the Kitty to be found soon! Also, open the door he escaped from and leave open as long as possible. He will try to come back in that same way. If you haven’t already, try putting the pet on PawBoost.com. They help find lost pets. This link has some really helpful info as well: https://www.facebook.com/MissingAnimalResponse/ Do be careful of scammers. Some people call or text and say they have your Pet just to get money. Pitiful!!
